HOA lien on condo. how much longer dos it take?

we are in the process of buying a REO bank owned condo in Southern California and there was back owed HOA fee's on it. Well, 3 month's have went by and they just kept asking us for an extension twice a month. Now. we find out today that Bof A has cleared the check from the HOA so they are trying to record the Deed asap. How long could this take? My family live in an apartment right now and our 30 day notice is up at the end of the month. I am so nervous. Do I need to bug ecrow to bug the Title company now that I know the check has cleared with Bof a to release the lien off of it? thanks in advance, Worried mom!!!! : (
