My HOA has refused my request to change the paint color of the inside of my porch. What are my recourses?

After going thru a process of getting signatures from my neighbors and submitting paint chips my HOA ha refused permission to paint the inside of my porch a diffrent color without any reason. What process can I follow to make them give me permission?
